Too many power things

If you've played for the last couple of days (and who hasn't) you will already have had thousands of power things drop. Combined to make hundreds of concentrates and combined again to make tens of extremes.

So I've already got tons of these things and what can I do with them. Well all I can see at the moment that I do want to do is create epic stones. But that takes ONE extreme and TEN rare stones. I've already got 30+ extremes but I haven't got that many rares. So by the time I get enough stones I will have hundreds of extremes.

Surely the combination ratio is all wrong? Wouldn't it be more sensible (yes I know this is Rappelz) to combine say 100 extremes with 3 rare stones? I can't do anything sensible with the extremes and they sell for nothing so I think either the drop rate is way way too high or the combination scheme is manic. Probably both.
